This conference aims to foster multi-disciplinary partnerships between sexual and reproductive health and behavioral health services to maximize client impact. Strengthening collaborations between these specialties will help streamline our health care system and improve the quality of care and experience for our patients.
Objectives:
After this conference, participants will be able to:
* Describe how behavioral health challenges can impact one's sexual and reproductive health
* Discuss strategies to better integrate sexual, reproductive and behavioral health services
* Identify ways to foster multi-disciplinary partnerships between sexual and reproductive health and behavioral health services.
* Describe the interrelation between trauma and behavioral health outcomes such as substance abuse, risky sexual behaviors, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety
Audience:
Clinical, programmatic, and administrative staff working in Title X family planning, HIV, STD, adolescent sexual health, and/or behavioral health agencies or programs.
