The short answer is yes. If you think about it psychologically, addiction is defined as any behavior that continues despite negative consequences. We all know someone who has continued to have unhealthy sexual behavior despite bad things that happen to them. If you look at it biologically, all drugs of abuse have been shown to increase a chemical called Dopamine in a part of the brain called the Reward Pathway. Guess what causes a natural spike in Dopamine in that part of the brain...that's right SEX.
